Mason's Memorial Chapel

A Masonic memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 14, at 2:00pm, at the Redmond Masonic Center, 627 7th St. Memorial contributions may be made in Dicks name to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97239. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Redmond Memorial Chapel. Richard Arnold Sewell was born July 27, 1934, in Des Moines, Washington. After graduating from high school, Dick enlisted in the U.S. Navy, before being discharged in 1959. After his discharge, Dick worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, and was proud to have worked on the Alaska pipeline. Dick was a long-standing Mason, Shriner and Elk. Dick love fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was an amazing dad and friend to all. Dick truly enjoyed making others laugh with his latest joke. He always had a smile and a kind word of encouragement for everyone he met. His distinctive laughter will be missed by all. Those left to mourn his passing include his children, Clark, Sallie, Heather, Deborah, Kim and Cindy, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. ...
